* Block A is in a state of chaos going into the last round of group stage matches on Saturday. The only one of the six men tied on 8pts who can be ruled out is Angel de Oro (no matches left), who made a flying start to the tournament but tailed off badly with a series of defeats.

* Block B is won by Low Ki as we all know, with Kozlov and Kendrick both on 10pts. Kozlov’s loss to Kendrick on 6/2 means Kendrick is currently second and Kozlov faces Low Ki on Saturday so his odds of advancing are not great. There is also the possibility of both Kozlov and Kendrick losing and one or more of the three men on 8pts winning, which would confuse things quite a lot.
