New Japan held its annual “CAMP ZAMA CAMPFEST” yesterday at the U.S. military base Camp Zama. Once again it was a huge success with lots of American fans which led to a unique atmosphere such as Naito being the bad guy against King Fale and Honma likewise against Lance Archer. Akebono made a special appearance in the main event while four joshi puroresu legends kicked off the show in an OZ Academy Offer Match.

* New Japan’s fourth show in four years at the American military base of Camp Zama. Another major success by all accounts.
* Like the other “CAMP ZAMA SLAMFEST” shows, they were very America-centric with things you wouldn’t see on a normal New Japan show. For example, Beer Money Inc. were good guys today and defeated NO LIMIT.
* Akebono made one of his occasional New Japan appearances, teaming with Bad Intentions in the main event to defeat CHAOS.
