New Japan’s first ever tour of the United States in mid-2011 saw the creation of the IWGP Intercontinental Title, a secondary singles title with an international theme to it. - (7/18/11 @ Makomanai Sekisui Heim Ice Arena) MVP beat Toru Yano (12:03) with the TTB (2nd defense).

2. (10/10/11 @ Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan) Masato Tanaka beat MVP (12:30) with the Sliding D.
- (11/12/11 @ Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium) Masato Tanaka beat Hirooki Goto (9:51) with the Sliding D (1st defense).
