Witajcie w pierwszym CZW Newsbox'e! Postanowiłem go wydawać, w sumie tak jak Koper aby przybliżyć wam bardziej CZW (w przypadku Kopra ROH). Myślę, że uda mi się go robić raz na tydzień, ponieważ jak dobrze wiadomo w CZW nie ma aż tyle newsów.

 

Na początek oficjalny tekst Erica Gargulio (komentator w CZW, pełniący nieco podobną funkcję co JR) na temat Justice Paina w CZW, który pojawił się na stronie czwwrestling.com (specjalnie nie tłumaczę):

 

"Quite arguably the most dominant player in the history of Combat Zone Wrestling returned at Best of the Best 2004. One a night where it looked like CZW would have a couple of big subtractions, the addition of one may have changed the entire landscape of CZW.

Justice Pain debuted with Combat Zone Wrestling on Opening Night in February of 1999. Pain was one of the original four trained by John Zandig at the CZW Wrestling Academy. It did not take long before the early chapters would be written on the legacy of this budding young star.

Pain acquired his early taste for gold by successfully challenging for the CZW Iron Man Championship. Pain and another one of the original four and 2004 CZW Hall of Fame inductee, Lobo helped put CZW on the map with their series of Iron Man title matches. The rivalry was so intense that the Cage of Death was spawned from their bloody series. Pain would hold the Iron Man title on two different occasions.

Pain moved on next to the CZW World Junior Heavyweight Title. Pain became embroiled in an exciting series of matches with another of the original four, Ric Blade. Worlds collided as Ric Blade's high flying pioneering junior heavyweight style combined Pain's take no prisoners approach to spurt Caged to the End.

Pain moved on next to what would become the start of his dominant legacy, the CZW World Heavyweight Championship. Pain formed the original H8 Club with Wifebeater and Mac Smack to attack John Zandig and anyone else who stood between him and the CZW World Heavyweight Championship.

Pain played his cards perfectly and at the second Cage of Death defeated both Zandig and Lobo to win his first ever CZW World Heavyweight Title. Pain was not just a bit player as part of the show anymore. In Pain's eyes and many fans, he was now the entire show!

Pain waged a bloody war with Zandig that went on for well over a year. The allegiance of the CZW fans changed several times during their wars. Fans who loved to throw trash and boo Pain and Wifebeater were now pledging their loyalty to these two unlikely fan favorites. The love affair between Pain and the fans would wind up being one big scam after all.

Pain sold out his long friendship with Wifebeater to ensure a win over his partner. The match and the moments leading into the event are still some of the most shocking moments in CZW history.

Pain defeated Wifebeater in the most famous Cage of Death of all time, drawing a turn away crowd for the first time in CZW history. The match was so brutal, so intense, that Wifebeater came back for a few matches seven months later but would retire soon thereafter.

Pain was the dominant player in 2002 as CZW began to branch out as the premiere independent in the business. Pain got so cocky that he began putting his title up in a series of open challenge matches. Pain ran the table against all of his open challengers and which included The Messiah, CM Punk, Billy Fives, Nick Mondo, Nick Gage, and Trent Acid.

Pain's biggest test came at what some have arguably called the greatest match in CZW history, High Stakes. Do you notice a pattern here with Justice Pain. Like him or not, Pain has been a pivotal component to the innovations in CZW history. Pain, along with Nick Mondo, Adam Flash, and Messiah wrestled a high impact, nonstop match for over sixty minutes! Unfortunately at the 63:00 mark, Messiah scored his first CZW World Title win and that was at the expense of Justice Pain.

Pain regained the title one month later in a match that was gutsy, brutal, and as intense as anything you will ever see. Three of the four from High Stakes met as part of the second annual Best of the Best. All of these men were still hurting from injuries sustained less than a month ago. Yet all three stepped up, and Pain scored a huge coup winning both the CZW World and Iron Man titles.

Pain would finish out his last year in CZW fending off challenges from Nick Gage and The Messiah. It would be the mind games of The Messiah that enabled him to defeat the four-time CZW World Heavyweight Champion. Did Messiah get lucky or did the era of Pain finally come to an end? Those were questions nobody thought they would ever be able to answer. One month later Pain left CZW as a high priced free agent never to be seen again.

Until Best of the Best. As Pain said himself, isn't it ironic that he left for the money and came back for the money. Pain claims to have collected the bounty on Trent Acid as put up by The Dew and The Messiah. In typical Pain fashion, he came back to collect the bounty publicly, and to rub it in the faces of the fans, the locker room, and John Zandig.

Did Messiah open up a Pandora's Box? Even if Messiah thought Pain would be the man to collect the bounty. Nobody would have ever dreamed that John Zandig would allow him back in CZW. The landscape of CZW is much different from it was back in 2002, Pain's last month in the company. The competition is more fierce, the competition is more seasoned, and the competition is come parallel to one another than ever before. As much as the landscape has changed since the departure of Justice Pain, I think it has changed much more since his return.

Justice Pain will be at the CZW Arena on August 14th and is looking for an opponent. Will he decide when he will wrestle? Who he wrestle? Or does Zandig have a plan for Justice Pain on the 14th?"

 

Na gali 14 sierpnia w ECW Arena, w CZW ma zadebiutować Jay Lethal. Jego debiut ma być czymś wielkim (są wszelkie starania o to). Lethal był w przeszłości szkolony przez dawnego ECW World, ECW TV oraz ECW Tag Team Championa - Mikey Whipwreck'a. Podczas walki używa takie akcje jak: European Uppercuts, Dragon Suplex, Diving Headbutt, Snap Suplex a jego finisherem jest Lethal Injection (Cut Throat Pump Handle Sitout Power Bomb). Lethal walczył kilka razy na wschodnim wybrzeżu USA i m.in. pokonał CM Punka w drodze do finału oraz Homicide'a w finale Jersey J Cup 2003! Co ciekawe, Lethal walczy dopiero od dwóch lat !!

 

Na gali 14 sierpnia ma dojść do arcyciekawej walki Alex Shelley vs. B-Boy! Będzie to pierwszy single match Shelley'a w CZW (nie licząc tego z Best of the Best 4), a zarazem pierwszy pomiędzy tą dwójką (wcześniej spotkali się na "Cage of Death V" oraz "Apocalypse" ale w walkach kilku osobowych).

 

Znany jest już przeciwnik CZW Iron Man Championa - Chrisa Hero w drugiej rundzie Xtreme Strong Style Tournamentu - jest nim nie kto inny niż BJ Whitmer (ROH), który w pierwszej rundzie turnieju pokonał Brad'a Bardley'a (IWA-Mid South). Jeżeli Whitmer pokonałby Hero to bardzo możliwe, iż otrzyma CZW Iron Man Title Shot.

Można powiedzieć już teraz, mimo iż znamy dopiero 4 walki, to gala zapowiada się szalenie ciekawie. Poczekamy do czasu kiedy zostaną ogłoszone następne walki.

 

Teraz informacja która pojawiła się na stronie CZW. Były to na początku pogłoski, lecz teraz to szczera prawda. John Zandig przymierza się do zorganizowania gali, która będzie w formie PPV (!!!!!). Tak nie mylicie się, gala będzie płatna i ma być to pierwsze Ultraviolent PPV na terenie USA!

Gala CZW jako PPV byłby to niesamowity sukces Zandiga jako promotora i szefa CZW chyba nawet większy niż pierwsze PPV ECW ponieważ CZW jest bardziej hardcorowe niż ECW kiedykolwiek było.Jesli produkt Zandiga stanie się ogólnodostępny będzie to ogromny krok do przodu dla tej federacjii.

Jest tylko pewne ale...cholernie duże koszty organizacji takiej gali. Chociaż widzę tutaj światełko w tunelu. Jak wiemy CZW to nie Ring of Honor i nie stać ich na zapraszanie aż takiej ilości wielkich gwiazd (bądź co bądź np. Justin Credible w CZW wystąpił tylko raz a w ROH kilka i nie walczył w main eventach, czy też postać Ravena, CM Punka - to są nieco drodzy wrestlerzy). Jednak dzięki temu promuje swoje gwiazdy, które później podbijają świat - np. Sonjay Dutt - jeszcze 3 lata temu nie był znany a później wypromowanie się w CZW, później zaczęcie pojawiania się na galach MLW a na końcu NWA-TNA.

Myśle, że jednak musiałabyć chociaż jedna gwiazda dużego formatu zaproszona na galę aby przyciągnąć więcej fanów. Jednak tym nie mniej uważam to za dobry pomysł.
