Continued his feud with Don Frye, the two getting into a scuffle after Frye defeated Yuji Nagata on 12/4/98 ... Had an intense match with Frye on 1/4/99, but was KO'd after a punch flurry ... Lost to Frye again on 2/14/99, being forced to submit ... Had more bad luck, losing to Kazuyuki Fujita at just 3:55 on 8/28/99 ...
